Welcome to york-chester.com, the online presence for the York-Chester District of the AME Zion Church.  I am delighted you have chosen to visit our website.   It is my belief that you are here not by chance and not by accident, but by divine influence and direction. It is my desire that something you read or see here would provide needed inspiration for you at this particular moment in your life.

Our district is comprised of 22 churches that include the counties of York, Chester, and Cherokee in South Carolina, and Cleveland County in North Carolina. The pastors and the contact information for each church are prominently displayed. We also have a Contact Us page where you can submit questions/comments to us directly. If you are so led by God and you see something on this site that you feel would speak to a current need in your life, I encourage you to not hesitate to get in touch with us. God loves you and values you and wants only the best for your life, and we believe we can aid you in finding out what is that special purpose God has designed specifically for you.
